Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Top 5 Features

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is arguably one of the highest-end smartphones on the market right now. Sure, it doesn’t have an all-metal build like the HTC One or the Apple iPhone 5S. And it doesn’t have that pure stock Android experience that you get on the Nexus 5. But, it has some killer features that make the Note 3 literally and figuratively stand out from the rest of the competition! Check out our top 5 features below:

  1. The first top feature is the most obvious one and that’s the HUGE 5.7 inch SuperAMOLED display. Not only does this display deliver over 350+ PPI but it’s also an improved version of the AMOLED screen found on the Galaxy S4 being significantly brighter which makes outdoor visibility a bit better.
  2. The second top feature helps reduce the biggest drawback of the first top feature in that the screen can be too big. With some touch optimized wizardry (see what I did there?) Samsung has made it possible to re-size the entire screen down to 3.5 to 4.5 inches with a simple swipe in and out from the edge of the screen.
  3. You can’t make a top feature list on the Note series without mentioning the S-Pen. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, the S-Pen isn’t just a stylus. It’s a whole different method of input. Simply put, it can just do things that an ordinary stylus (or your finger) just can’t.
  4. With a big phone, comes a big 3200 mAh battery. That, combined with its energy efficient SAMOLED screen makes top feature number four battery life. The Note 3 is one of the few phones (other than the RAZR Maxx series) that can easily last me all day long with over 50% battery life left at the end of the day. Impressive.
  5. The fifth top feature is actually a combination of features in that the Galaxy Note 3 is more future-proofed than just about any other smartphone out there. With technology like USB 3.0, 4K video recording, and 3 GB of RAM, the Note 3 brings high-end hardware to the table that no other phone has yet. Which means that in a year or two from now when the other phones catch up, the Note 3 will still be relevant.

So those are our top 5 features on the Note 3. Obviously the Note 3 is feature-packed considering it’s a Samsung phone, but we really wanted to feature on the most useful features instead of the sometimes gimmicky things that Samsung throws in there. Out of these top features, which one do you think is the most useful? Let us know down in the comments below!
